Explore South Africa overland between Johannesburg and Cape Town in vehicles especially designed to access the off-the-beaten track highlights this rich country has to offer: brave ‘Big Five’ game reserves on foot, experience Kruger National Park, explore the Drakensberg Mountains, visit the Swaziland Kingdom, cruise through Knysna on a boat journey, stroll along unspoiled sun-kissed beaches, hike Table Mountain and visit unique locations on this impressive overland tour!

This journey of around 800 miles (1300 kilometers) travels along a beautifully scenic stretch of South Africa from Johannesburg to Cape Town, giving you a remarkably in-depth first hand experience of the country’s incredible diversity and vibrant culture. In just less than three weeks you will voyage over some of the most rugged and interesting South African terrain, from our Drifters Bushveld Camp within the greater Kruger Park to our final destination of Cape Town on the south west cape peninsula. Our specifically designed and well-equipped adventure vehicles will ensure maximum comfort en-route as we drive through areas including the Kruger National Park, Swaziland Kingdom, Natal, Karoo and the Garden Route.
