|
This unique program is designed for those who wish to see all main tourist attractions of Mongolia in just one trip. You will visit the ruins of the legendary Karakorum, once the capital of the 13th-century Mongol Empire as well as the Mongolia's first Buddhist monastery-Erdenezuu. While staying in Ulaanbaatar after returning from Karakorum, you will be transferred to Gandan Monastery to marvel at the imposing Migjed Janraisig (Buddha) statue, which is the tallest in Central Asia. You will fly to Gobi Desert to hunt for dinosaur fossils as well as ride a two-humped Bactrian camel. An interesting visit to the Tsaatan people who breed reindeers await you at Lake Hovsgol, dubbed as the Blue Pearl of Asia. During this 9-day trip, experience nomadic lifestyle of spontaneously hospitable Mongolians.
