If you are travelling through Kyrgyzstan and would like to do something different, yet fulfilling, please consider being a volunteer on our work site! Habitat Kyrgyzstan Foundation builds houses with needy people in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and we welcome people from all walks of life who want to make a difference in the lives of needy people. No experience is required…just a good attitude, a big smile and willingness to learn.
This is a great way to meet local people, as you would work side by side with the families who will receive the Habitat house, as well as a good way to learn either Russian or Kyrgyz. Every day, we have a fresh, delicious local lunch on site which costs only $2!
