There are many opportunities to teach English and other subjects like Music and Art in China as a Volunteer. Since the founding of the People's Republic in 1949, Hebei Province of China has become a major center for developing skills and technologies. In Hebei each of the public and private schools is interested to make their students well qualified in English. In a rapidly changing country like china, English education is meaningful in many ways. Mostly importantly, Advancement in life in many extend defines by knowledge of English.
Therefore, each school has developed its own nifty way of teaching English by establishing a English Corner a special place where students learn English. In China, studying English became an insatiable appetite for each young, adult, and old Chinese in Hebei. As a volunteer English teaching leader in china, you will offer help to come students dream true. As a volunteer china participants, you will be teaching simple English and conversational English to students. Additional help to organizing English test, game, and other creative activities might be requested.
Primarily, you will work as a foreign English expert in teach in china program. Each of public and private schools have no or very rear opportunity of having foreign English expert so they feel proud of having foreign teacher in their school. It creates a very welcoming environment for our volunteers. Langfang - Economic and technical developing zone of china,30 minutes from Beijing
Zhangjiakou - Place under the foothill of the Great Wall, 2 hours drive from Beijing.
TEACH MUSIC AND ART:
With our China volunteer program, Global Crossroad offers a new, exciting, and delightful way of experiencing the Chinese culture and society - by teaching music and art. If you are creative, interested in volunteering in China, and would like to teach music and fine art to students, our China volunteer project welcomes you. Many volunteering placements on teaching Music and Art are available at Women's vocational school, an intensive educational institute, at Bao Ding city of China.
Through the Global Crossroad' organization, your volunteer work will mostly follow the school's hours or schedule. As a music and art volunteer teacher, you will teach various aspects of art and music in an English medium. You will teach art and music to our students, help to compose rhythms, write scripts of western songs, and assist students in better learning the English language. Also, you will play and direct music lyrics, both in Chinese and western ways. As an international volunteer in China, you will conduct various English conversational classes on music and art, assist students to improve their English speaking skills for composing English music, and direct dramas that allows students to involve themselves in the mainstream of western music and art.
Our project is located in one of the historical provinces of China. In your free time, you will have ample opportunities to experience and explore the astonishing Great Wall of China, Ming Tombs, Forbidden City, Imperial Palace, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Yuanming Palace, and Tiananmen Square. Volunteering in China will allow you to bring music, art, and joy into the lives of these Chinese students, while giving you the satisfaction of being a valuable international volunteer.

SUMMER CAMP: THE SUMEMR ENGLISH CAMP OF INNER MONGOLIA: EXPLORE NOMADIC LIFE AND GRASSLANDS:
Global Crossroad Summer English Camp takes you to a land of wondrous natural scenery, a long, established history, and a charming, brilliant culture. Here, this volunteer program offers you an unlimited chance to explore many historic sites, including the Wudangzhao Monastery and the Zhaojun TombWanbu Huayanjin Pagoda in your free time. Also, inner Mongolia is the hometown of Genghis Khan (1162-1227), the great leader of Mongolians, and as an international volunteer in China, you can experience his legacy and lands.
The summer English work camps in Inner Mongolia are specially designed to be thorough English teaching and conversation programs. The basic activities for this volunteer work include teaching simple English and grammar and speaking English to 5-12 year old kids in an every day environment that differs from their regular school hours and home. For the two week that you are volunteering in China, you will live in a unique tent with a group of highly enthusiastic Chinese students and teach them the beauty of English language.
In the mornings and evenings, you will run this English teaching camp. In your free time, you will explore China's grasslands, investigate ancient temples, ride horses, barbeque mutton, and cook traditional Chinese cuisines. Also, when you are not volunteer teaching, you will have opportunities to undertake a wide range of adventurous activities, such as Mongolian wrestling, camel riding, rodeo competitions, archery contests, visiting traditional families, and enjoying the splendor of graceful Mongolian singing and dancing. Please find time to volunteer with the Global Crossroad program, and you will explore the remote, inner Mongolia wilderness that lies hidden from most travelers.
SUMMER CAMP: THE SUMEMR ENGLISH CAMP OF INNER MONGOLIA: EXPLORE NOMADIC LIFE AND GRASSLANDS:
Global Crossroad' Winter English Camp allows volunteers admittance to a lovely and spectacular scenic, historical, and cultural world. Here, volunteers in Asia are offered the once in a lifetime chance to explore many exciting sites, including the Wudangzhao Monastery and the Zhaojun TombWanbu Huayanjin Pagoda. This land is the home of Genghis Khan (1162-1227), the great leader of the Mongolians, and our volunteers can explore the legacy and beautiful land that this man left behind.
With Global Crossroad' Winter English work camps, international volunteer can arrive in Inner Mongolia ready to teach English and every day conversation programs to local students. The basic activities that you will be responsible for include teaching simple English, teaching English grammar rules, and speaking English to 5-12 year old kids in an environment different than their regular school hours and time practicing at home. For the two weeks that you volunteer abroad with Global Crossroad, you will live in a rustic but fun tent with a group of highly enthusiastic Chinese students - here, you can teach them the beauty of the English language.
As a volunteer in the winter camp, you will teach English classes to the children enrolled in the program in both the mornings and evenings. In your free time, you can have the chance to explore beautiful and exotic lands, hike in ancient religious temples, ride horses, and cook traditional Chinese cuisine. Additionally, as a participant in our program, you will have access to various unusual activities, such as Mongolian wrestling, camel riding, rodeo competitions, archery contests, visiting traditional families, and enjoying the mysterious grace of Mongolian songs and dances. MINI ADVENTURE PROGRAM:
Combine volunteering with adventure through the Mini-Adventure program. Our volunteers in the China program have access to a unique and action packed mini-adventure, which combines volunteering in China's orphanages with exploring China's lands. Global Crossroad runs this mini-adventure in the heart of the Shijiazhuang, a perfect, beautiful Asian countryside. The orphanage center houses 31 children, who are mostly the victims of floods or other catastrophes. Assisting the orphanages, volunteers involved in the China mini-adventure program can share their love and care in an effort to make a difference in the life of poor orphans. Our volunteer China project blends your worthwhile volunteering intention with thrilling visits to some very popular tourist destinations in nearby areas. Working for orphans reveals the issues and challenges that face Chinese orphaned children, and volunteers can help alleviate some of these trying issues.
As a volunteer in the orphanages, you will teach simple English to underprivileged children. English education is crucial for a person's success in China, and your help makes a difference in the life of orphans - leaving an immeasurable, positive, future impact. Additional works include sanitation, hygiene education, and conversational English. Also, you can volunteer to help with activities such as dancing and singing. After a few days of working with poor children, Global Crossroad will take international volunteers on a remarkable journey to explore nearby areas of tourist interests. The last 4 days of the guided program takes you to Chengde, inner Mongolia, which consists of beautiful grasslands and the Great Wall of China. The goal of our mini-adventure, as always, is to enrich your volunteering experience by visiting some cultural wonders that make up China.
