Insight Abroad gives you the rare opportunity to travel deep into the heart of a community. You'll arrive as a welcomed guest and, one week later, leave as a friend.
You'll get to plug yourself into the local rhythm of daily life, and discover the power of working side-by-side with local people on meaningful community initiatives. As each day passes, you’ll have an extraordinary chance to step inside the lives of the local people, sharing different perspectives of the world and exploring the beauty of their vibrant cultures. You’ll even enjoy plenty of free time for your own personal adventures.
Insight Abroad is available year-round in Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Peru, and Russia.

The Insight Abroad programme fee is designed to cover almost every aspect of your trip. Lodging, meals and transportation are all covered. So is individual attention and guidance from an experienced and knowledgeable Programme Manager, plus individualised coordination for your placement. Even pre-departure and in-country literature, a 24-hour emergency hotline in the US, and travel and medical insurance are covered.
The Programme fee for Intern Abroad is £927.

Because our programs are short-term and year-round, we attract participants of all ages. The Insight Abroad programme may especially suit someone looking for a short introduction to international volunteering, or someone with only one week to spare.

There is no formal application process. If you are interested in participating in a programme, please contact us. A Programme Enrolment Manager will be happy to talk with you about how a programme could work for you. To reserve your space on a programme, you will be required to put down a non-refundable deposit of £150.
