|
The Greenforce Ecuador Experience gives you the chance to contribute towards conservational and humanitarian projects in the Andes and the Amazon, with the added opportunity of learning Spanish.
The first 2 weeks is spent in Quito getting acclimatised to being high in the Andes and learning Spanish in 1-to-1 classes.
When the Spanish course is complete you move down to the Amazon to undertake 4 weeks conservation work in the primary rainforest.
After 4 weeks in the Amazon rainforest you head back to Quito to develop your Spanish while working in the Andes as a Red Cross volunteer.
Should you want to extend your stay beyond 10 weeks there are opportunities to head down the coast to work in an animal rehabilitation centre and Zoo.

The emphasis of the Greenforce Ecuador Experience expedition is on obtaining a broad experience of the culture and environment of Ecuador.
Learning Spanish and being immersed in the language when working in the field means that you will have a good grasp of this widely-spoken language by the time you leave Ecuador.
