|
A fabulous opportunity to use your horsemanship and social skills to work on this beautiful estancia in a remote area of Argentina! Estancia Los Potreros is a 6,500 acre working cattle ranch that has been offering high quality riding holidays to the middle/upper European and American markets for over 5 years. We are looking for trainee guides to assist us with the horse-riding side of the business which is predominantly trail riding, with polo played once a week. Guides can expect to be involved in all horse-riding activities, including horse care, tacking up, care of the saddle room, assisting with rides, and when competent hosting of rides with guests. In addition guides may be expected to assist with general work around the estancia, which may include activities such as gardening. As importantly, guides dine with guests in the evenings to assist with hosting, conversation and entertainment. Weekly Spanish lessons will be given, and all of our staff only speak Spanish so there is a fabulous opportunity to learn and practice.

ELP pays for all food and accommodation whilst on the estancia, along with any visa costs. Guides also share in tips. Placements are responsible for their own cost of travel to/from the estancia.
