|
In Southern Africa big game still roams the plains, but a booming human population is pushing wildlife out to the frontiers. National boundaries often bisect ecosystems and disrupt natural processes. Fences put up by game parks and farmers prevent the natural migration of large game across the landscape, resulting in debilitating pressure being put on these areas by the hemmed-in animals.
Living in the heart of our own reserve on the Botswana side of the Limpopo river border with South Africa, teeming with large mammals and stunning scenery, with qualified staff to ensure safety and that volunteers are fantastically well informed about their surroundings, is the chance of a lifetime.
