|
This placement is ideal for any competent athlete looking to develop their skills and athletic potential under the sun in an action-packed Australian city. You will train with a local athletics club on Australia’s East Coast, making heaps of new friends and fulfilling your athletic potential.
The placement is based in Brisbane where you will be surrounded by lots of sports men and women, creating the perfect environment for sporting development. The programme is structured around three key areas: strength and conditioning, group fitness sessions and athletics training. You will have access to professional coaches to help improve your sporting skills and technique, alongside membership of a local club to develop your talent and, of course, your social life!
As well as excellent facilities, an action packed social calendar and friends for life, you will be staying in superb accomodation and have three nutritious meals a day. Airport pick-up, 24 hour support (locally and from the UK), a free t-shirt and free access to a state of the art weights room, cardio gym and swimming pool are also included. Please note you will inccur additional costs for expenditures such as flights, visas and travel insurance - we can provide advice and assistance on all of these.
Athletics is very popular in Australia and many of the country's best city, state and national sports teams and individuals compete in Brisbane. Combine this with a host of included adventure activities, such as surfing, snorkelling and horse riding, and you're heading for an awesome time Down Under!
