Television experience. For those in search of a media experience with a difference, you could find yourself working at one of a number of private television production companies in Ulaan Bataar. This is a brilliant opportunity for those starting out in their TV career, or experienced media types looking for an interesting new addition to their CVs. You could get involved with a wide range of activities including programme design, script editing - even presenting! And if you have an interest in PR or marketing, there are plenty of chances to stretch your skills.
Journalism experience
There are a number of journalistic opportunities in Mongolia for budding hacks and experienced journalists alike. You could join the editorial team at one of two English-language newspapers, or alternatively become a member of an international news agency. There are a wide variety of activities get involved with, including editing, proofreading, feature writing or even photojournalism. As a fluent English speaker, you'll make a valuable addition to any team and such a unique placement will look great on any CV!
