Summer camps are part of the American culture and way of life and there are over 12,000 throughout the USA. Last year, Camp America sent 9000 people from all over the world to work on summer camps in the States as Camp Counsellors, Special Needs counsellors and support staff. Whatever your experience or skill area, there's something on camp to suit you - from teaching rock climbing, kayaking or computer skills to child care, maintenance and driving the school bus! Participating on the Camp America programme gives you the opportunity to travel, live and work in a completely different environment, make new friends, develop your skills and have a fun summer!
