Based in the vibrant city of Shanghai you’ll work alongside local journalists on an English-language newspaper or modern full colour magazine. Depending on your areas of interest, you will have the opportunity to participate in a range of journalistic activities including researching, interviewing, feature writing, events reviews & proof-reading.
This placement is a fantastic way to gain insight into how publications in China are run,whilst gaining invaluable work experience. This placement will also provide you with the chance to build up a portfolio while experiencing first-hand the many facets of modern Chinese society. Whether you’re speaking to the Managing Director of a large multi-national company, attending a press conference with an important political figure or reviewing the latest glitzy Shanghainese restaurant, you’ll certainly never be bored!
