Global Crossroad's Internship in Honduras program offers prospective interns a broad array of opportunities to deepen their understanding of issues related to Honduras or Honduran life. In our Internship in Honduras program, we manage internship projects in many areas in collaboration with our local partners. Areas of Honduras internship include (but are not limited to):
Traditional Honduras Arts
Environment and Conservation
Health
Teaching
Women's Studies
Developmental Studies
Journalism
Honduras language
Report Writing
Handicrafts
In the Honduras Internship program, the intern engages in daily project activities and works under an assigned supervisor, usually the director of your internship project. Global Crossroad strongly suggests that interns join our two-week language program and contact us if you need additional tutorials with experts in particular areas. Please contact us with questions to make sure that your internship project can meet your expectations.
Room and Board: Host family and local foods three times a day
Working Hours: 25-35 hours per week
Special Requirements: Health Internship requires ID (medical student or health professional)
