Program description: |
|
|
Interns will work with a group of residents in a public hospital in the city of Buenos Aires. Within this group of residents, the volunteer will be able to:
* See the patients with the residents
* Assist in taking patient histories
* Observe examinations
Interns can also assist with an HIV/AIDS mobilization project or visit children with serious or chronic health problems in hospitals around the city. Both projects will give interns insight into the health issues Argentina is facing as well as help those the volunteers come into contact with.
