Program description: |

|
You will be working at the university hospital in the heart of the city. You will get a range of experiences working with local doctors and will be able to see a lot more than is normally possible in your home country. Many of the doctors speak English, but for those who do not, a local medical student will be provided by Projects Abroad to act as a translator. Your supervisor will be the Rector of the Faculty of Medicine. In addition to the normal daily work around the hospital, there is also the opportunity to assist him with his classes and in the editing of the University Medical Journal.
If you are interested in physiotherapy we have opportunities available for you to gain experience working with disabled children at one of the disabled centres where we work in Chisinau. The local physiotherapists are keen to have - quite literally - an extra pair of hands to assist them!

Qualifications required: |
|
|
You do not need to have any prior study or experience in Physiotherapy to volunteer on the placement as we welcome pre-university students as well as current undergraduates, postgraduates and qualified physiotherapists.
