	Program description:
	The Diving Camp Nuweiba is situated directly on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Sinai. Dunes and a fantastic bay as far you can see, with a wonderful view on the Red Sea and the mountains of Saudi Arabia in the background. Relax yourself under palm trees or have a cool drink in our divers bar. INFORMATION ABOUT SINAI Marine Life: Think of any coral species and you will almost certainly find a living example in the Egyptian Red Sea. Even if you concentrated on the species to be found on a single site, the list would be unending. The fish are as unbelievable as the coral and every dive is like a visit to the world's best aquarium. The People: The people on the Sinai are a blend of peoples as disparate as Bedoin Arabs and Nilotic Africans, with amix of cultures that combines Islam, Coptic Christianity, and the rich traditions of a dozen ancient Mediteeanean empires. Rooted in the rich soil of religious faith and cultural tradition, Sinais society is nonetheless adapting to meet the needs of a modern world. And what all Sinai people seem to share is an open, friendly outlook which is as warm as the Egyptian sun. Dive Highlights: Especially in the area of Nuweiba you will find some of the least spoiled reefs on the Egyptian coastline, with none of the hustle and bustle of the more developed areas to the south. Luxuriant coral gardens and offshore canyons attract a dense population of reef fauna, and the clear waters bring crystal visibility to add to your diving pleasure. Beside around 15 dive sites available by jeep or boat we also have two intact house reefs a doorstep away from the diving center. Both house reefs give you the chance to do dives up to the maximum depth limit for recreational scuba diving while discovering the amazing underwater world of the Red Sea. Experienced divers are entiled to do unguided dives on both reefs. We also offer trips to the fascinating and well known dive sites of Dahab, "Blue Hole" and The Canyon, as well as to Sharm El Sheikh with the Nationalpark Ras Mohamed and the awesome wreck of the "Thistlegorm". The diving center is completly equipped with 150 12 ltr. aluminium tanks, 15 ltr. and 8 ltr. tanks for the kids. The air is filled by one Bauer compressor and one Poppe compressor, there are 20 full sets of rental equipment available, a complete technical workshop, modernly equipped classroom, a divers library and a nice and relaxing divers bar offering snacks and cool drinks. As a PADI Resort our courses from Open Water to Assistant Instructor level follow the international accepted training standards as recommended by PADI and the RSTC. Climate: The Sinais climate is a long summer - with an average rainfall of less than 5 cm a year. Blue skies and baking sun are the norm year-round. Temperatures may fluctuate - from below freezing in the desert in winter to 50°C or more in the summer - but clouds are a rare occurance in any season. Conditions: Below the surface, the endless summer continues. Water temperature rarely fall as low as 20°C in the depths of winter and summer highs can be around 30°C. Visibility is usually a superb 20m average for most of the Sinai, with highs of 30m or more. Current movement is generally benign, but the autumn wind change - from late September on - can bring big waves and swells that make access to isolated offshore sites difficult.
