INFO Nepal offers a wide variety of volunteer experiences within the local village communities of Nepal, with a very reasonable fee structure. INFO Nepal was established by Nepali's to assist the needy people of their country, by utilising the expertise and enthusiasm of Overseas Volunteers, and the hospitality of the villagers. The volunteers stay in a local home as one of the family, sharing in all aspects of daily life.
INFO’s mission is to provide volunteers with a customized program that will enable them to make an important contribution to the people of Nepal, while gaining an in-depth experience of Nepal's language and culture, that will stay with the volunteers for the rest of their lives.
INFO is a non-governmental organization (NGO) registered with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal since 2000.
As a part of the Volunteer Program, INFO provides Nepali cultural and language training and then places trained volunteers in schools and communities across Nepal to:
Teach English
Raise awareness about environmental issues and sanitation
