There are hundreds of major cities and towns in the USA offering positions to students and graduates studying in the UK. How it works
Our partner organisation CIEE is specially designated by the US Government to provide students and graduates the legal sponsorship to obtain a USA J-1 visa, which allows them to train and work for up to 18 months anywhere in the USA.
Unlike the Work & Travel USA Programme, (which allows students to take any type of job in the USA over the summer), Internship USA is particularly career focused and so your position in the States MUST be related to your field of study, or provide professional training for your future career. Nearly 10,000 students and graduates joined the Internship USA Programme last year, taking paid and unpaid placements in an incredible variety of jobs including business, arts, sciences, tourism and HR.
IST Plus provides:
