|
Our medical internships are designed for those who wish to work in a medical environment. Non-academic work program providing specific work experience in Ecuador and huge potential to upgrade resume with International exposure. Within the medical professions exist, we have the following areas: Ophthalmology, Surgery, Oncology, Gynecology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Dental Health, Neurology, Pediatrics, Emergency and many other different medical fields. Interns do not have medical responsibilities. These placements are usually for intense observation of how a job is performed in a specific specialization. Depending on the placement, interns will have the opportunity to assist the doctors (determined by their enthusiasm and their aptitude to learn new things) and will be able to receive hands-on experience administering care to the Ecuadorian people. ELEP bases its internship programs in a medical clinic, public or privates hospitals, rehabilitation centres, nursing homes or NGOs.
