|
Whether you are thinking of applying to medical school or are already on a course, we can arrange valuable medical work experience for you in the heart of bustling Shanghai.
You’ll shadow a doctor, spending time in various departments of a modern, busy hospital in the heart of the city. Departments you might be able to visit include Dermatology, Gynaecology, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Pathology, Surgery, ENT and if you would like you can spend time learning about Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
You’ll stay in an apartment in the city with one or two other volunteers, and benefit from the presence of our nearby China Office, and the company of many other volunteers on our China Programme.
