At Flora Bay Divers we offer programs for everyone to become a successful PADI Instructor and work on one of the best diving destinations in the world.
Can you imagine being on some tropical island or location such as Perhentian Islands, diving in crystal clear water, surrounded by brightly coloured coral and fish? You and your buddy put on your equipment to enter the water and explore the abundance of marine life – while hovering weightless underwater. There’s always something new, fascinating or challenging about venturing into the underwater world.
Diving offers something for everyone! If you seek adventure, you’ll find plenty, whether sunken ship as you uncover its secrets, in far corner of the world amid other peoples and cultures, or in your back yard – closer than you imagined possible. If you love nature, you’ve come to the right place. You can see more different species in ten minutes there than in ten hours in the most unspoiled wilderness above water. Perhentian Islands is surrounded by warm, crystal clear water filled with a great variety of brilliantly coloured tropical fish and coral reefs offering excellent diving and snorkeling in an extremely idyllic and laid back setting.
The islands lay some 20km off Kuala Besut on the Peninsula Malaysia’s northeastern coast. They form the northernmost part of Terengganu Marine Park, which also comprises a number of other islands; Pulau Lang Tengah, Pulau Redang, Pulau Bidong and Pulau Tenggol.
Perhentian Islands comprises two main islands – Perhentian Besar (big island) and Perhentian Kecil (small island). Both surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and brilliant rock formation.
