Program description:

The Au Pair in Holland program runs year-round and is offered for 6 to 12 months. Most placements start in September and end in June. A limited number of summer positions are available.

As an Au Pair, you will live as a member of your Host Family, providing a maximum of 30 hours of childcare per week. Some of your duties may include dropping the children off and picking them up from school, interacting and playing with the children, helping them with their homework, helping to keep their rooms clean and cooking light meals for them. Each family situation is different and schedules will be arranged with your Host Family. You may be asked to baby-sit in the evenings, but no more than three times per week and you will receive 1.8 Euro per hour. Au Pairs are not responsible for housework unrelated to the children or for managing the household.

As members of the International Au Pair Association, we follow strict guidelines to ensure that your experience is a positive one. Host Families and living arrangements are selected with great care, always with you in mind. You will be provided with your own room and 3 meals per day. You will be given your own keys and you will be able to receive phone calls during your stay.
