Camp USA arranges job offers, travel plans and visa documentation for international participants seeking camp positions in the U.S.
Camp USA offers participants a Regular program and a Pre-Placed program. The Regular program is for participants who would like Camp USA to find a placement for them at a U.S. summer camp. The Pre-Placed program is for participants who have found their own job at a camp and need Camp USA to provide visa assistance.
Camp Counselor and support staff positions available.
Counselors care for a group of campers 24 hours a day for 8 to 15 weeks. While this job can be exhausting, it is also very rewarding. Counselors are role models for their campers and can profoundly impact their lives. A strong counselor speaks fluent English, is mature and flexible and has a good sense of humor.
Support staff work in utility positions such as kitchen, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and office. These positions are vital to the smooth operation of camp. Participants can expect to work 12 to 14 hours a day in very strenuous jobs. Because these positions require physical labor, support staff receive slightly higher stipends than counselors. Good support staff are reliable, hard-working, flexible and able to work well both independently and in a group.
There are more than 12,000 summer camps in the United States, and each is unique. Camps differ in facilities, philosophy, programs, clientele and duration. Camp USA uses participants' applications and personal interviews to match them with camps that are best suited to their personalities, experiences and interests.

Cost or price of this program: |
 |

International camp staff accepted into the Regular program pay a program fee, SEVIS fee and an insurance fee. Individual cooperators may charge a reasonable administrative fee but Camp USA approves all cooperator fees before the season starts. Regular program applicants who do not fly from London, Madrid or Paris may also pay a flight supplement fee. The U.S. Department of State mandates fees for SEVIS and visa applications as well.
Staff participating in the Pre-Placed program have a different fee structure from Regular program participants because they are more independent in dealing with their camps. Pre-Placed program participants pay a program fee, a SEVIS fee and an insurance fee. They also must negotiate their stipends directly with their camp.
