Australia has so much to offer with its beautiful scenery, stunning beaches and lively culture. Changing Worlds offers a variety of paid and voluntary placements, each of which will give you a true Aussie experience.
You can choose to earn a wage and gain experience working in the hospitality industry in the exciting tourist centre of Surfers Paradise in Queensland.
For those interested in gaining paid work in one of the World's most exciting locations then read on...this might be just for you!
Changing Worlds organises paid placements for three to six months on the Gold Coast of Queensland. This is serious party territory so you can guarantee a brilliant social life.
We look for people who have considerable experience working in hospitality - a minimum of six months relevant work experience will ensure you get the job you deserve and the pay too. Pay can be anything between £4 to £8 per hours depending on your experience.
Working opportunities include work in bars, restaurants and cafes in this holiday area. If you can cook, serve food, pour a pint and are prepared to smile at customers all day (or night!) then you have the ingredients of what we are looking for.
In the past people have worked for large corporations whilst others have worked in smaller concerns.
For those people without this experience do not lose hope as we can organise for you to find work in shops. Recently we had people working in a call centre!
In all cases you will be interviewed and trailled when you arrive on the Gold Coast. If you are not successful at gaining the first job then the Changing Worlds will help you find alternative employment.
