|
Spend a year in the United States as an Au Pair to a carefully screened host family. In addition to providing childcare, an au pair’s responsibilities may also include: dropping the children off at school, picking them up from school or after-school activities, helping with homework, assisting in keeping the children’s rooms clean, and cooking light meals for the children. Au pairs are provided with a weekly stipend of $157.95 per week for 51 weeks, a private room, meals, an education allowance, two weeks’ paid vacation, one and a half days off per week and at least one complete weekend off each month during the year.
There is an optional month to travel at end of standard 1-year program term.
The Au Pair USA program includes roundtrip international airfare, a training program in New York City, and full agency support during your year abroad.

Qualifications required: |
 |
|
* Be 18 to 26 years-old and in good health
* Have a genuine love of children and previous
childcare experience
* Speak and understand English and be a secondary
school graduate
* Have an international driver’s license and a minimum of 50 hours of driving experience
* Be a non-smoker or be prepared to stop smoking if required by the host family
* Be of good character and receive a police clearance report
* Be prepared to commit to 12 months away from home
* Have not previously lived in the U.S. as an au pair
