Program description: |
|
|
Qualified medics are required to assist at Global Vision International's Rainforest Conservation Expeditions in both Costa Rica and Ecuador. for more information please visit the GVI website. Work is physically hard with very long hours, 5.30am till 9pm or as needed by the expedition. Living conditions are basic: there is no running water and electricity is supplied only by a night time generator.

Qualifications required: |
|
|
Must be a qualified medic preferably with a good knowledge of tropical diseases and wilderness first aid to act as expedition staff and community doctor. A strong background or interest in conservation, management and logistical experience a distinct advantage. Spanish and English are both essential.
