Train as a PADI Divemaster in Cambodia. Take as much time with the course as you need. We provide students with enough training and experience to feel extra competent as underwater guides. EcoSea Dive and Adventure often hires its own Divemasters when there are openings.
EcoSea Dive Cambodia's focus is to provide Sihanoukville holiday adventure travelers with safe, friendly, fun PADI scuba diving snorkel and adventure activities. We are very lucky to have the unique opportunity to develop our own virgin dive sites in Cambodia. We also offer a full range of PADI Scuba Dive Courses Including PADI Open Water scuba diver certifiacation, PADI Open Water Cards,Advanced Open Water course, PADI Rescue Diver training and you can train to be a PADI Pro with our comprehensive PADI Dive Master training course and internship, a excellent way to spend your Gap Year.
Sihanoukville is the third largest city in Cambodia and has been a resort destination for many years now. It is the primary resort area in the country for the Khmer's as well as foreign tourist. Sihanoukville surprises people when they get here to the size of the town which was at first three separate areas that have merged over time which stretches for over 3 kilometers from the port to the new Ochhel teal golf course.
Sihanoukville was know in the old days as Kompong Som and is still called that by the older people and the Thai's.
The current King saw the potential for Kompong Soam and invested resources to make the city a showcase of Cambodia with the focus being the 4 now 5 beach's. We will go into detail on the beach's in detail further down. You will find statues and parks all over Sihanoukville most have facilities that cater to visitors from rest rooms to restaurants and food stalls, to showers and you can rent beach toys, mats and umbrellas.
Sihanoukville Activities:
Scuba diving, snorkeling,adventure trekking - hiking, boat trips, island camping, fishing, biking, bird watching, casinos, shopping, and just lazing away on a quiet beach are all available Golf will be starting soon with the driving range opening soon. The guide books have not kept pace with the rapid development of Sihanoukville as a major beach resort destination in South East Asia.

We organizie trips to the outlying islands for scuba and snorkeling adventures . We are very fortunate in that we have a unique opportunity to develop our own virgin scuba dive sites in Cambodia. Imagine the excitement of diving a location that few if any have been to .... ever! Where else in the world can you participate in the exploration of new dive areas? . How much fun and excitement can you imagine when you flip off the boat at a new dive site with no idea what you are going to find?
EcoSea Dive employees that lead our water adventures are all PADI® certified professionals with a minimum PADI dive master rating. We provide all the professionally maintained scuba gear and snorkel gear you will need for our tours, We also have scuba gear rentals and snorkel gear rentals and air fills for qualified divers. We also have a limited amount of new and used scuba diver gear and snorkel gear sets for sale. EcoSea is a certified Mares Dive Center with a equipment technician on staff to repair scuba and snorkel gear.
We want to discover as many locations as possible to inventory and catalog and then get the information to the scientific community .Coral reefs and mangroves are very sensitive and fragile environments. We encourage divers not to harasses the wildlife and to be careful not to disturb the coral by brushing against it or hitting it with fins or loose equipment. We have on all of our rental equipment retractors and holders. As a general rule you should have these items on your personal equipment. We will in time be putting in permanent moorings as well as artificially created reefs to provide nursery for small fish. We will encourage our customers to help with these projects as part of our Eco Friendly oriented philosophy.
Snorkelers will find lots of great fish to view in warm tropical waters. EcoSea's dive masters take the time to work with individuals giving them pointers that increase their skill allowing them to maximize the snorkel skin diver experience. Experienced snorklers are often surprised by the benefits of professional guidance in locating wildlife and explaining the different things that you will see, and to explain the physiological issues you probably weren't aware of. . Many snorklers don't want to get certified as scuba divers they are quite content to enjoy the serenity of floating in a quiet blue world, or the thrill of surface diving and getting with in mere inches of the fish and wildlife and taking photo's. We understand your wants and needs and will never pressure you to go beyond your comfort levels.
EcoSea provides good fitting well maintained snorkel equipment. We can even sell you the gear that you have rented for your next adventure. If you like, we can also provide additional flotation devises to increase your pleasure, as well as some underwater toys to fool around with and you can purchase underwater camera's to record your time in Neptune's world.
For all of our divers, safety is a responsibility we never take lightly. On board our boat for the unlikely event of an emergency situation, we have a large first aid kit, as well as a Dan Charter Boat Oxygen Kit. We have enough emergency oxygen to last an average diver over 8 hours. All long range charters will have a certified Medic First Aid and Dan Oxygen provider on board, in most cases the provider will be an Medic First Aid and or a Dan Oxygen instructor. If you like we can also certify you as a medic first aid and Dan Oxygen Provider.
