Program description: |
|
|
Teach English in Taiwan at one of our Catholic, Bushiban, or Government recognised schools. Taiwan has many language schools and kindergartens that offer teaching vacancies for part-time or full-time English teachers. AAC offers English teaching positions throughout Taiwan. We require our teachers to hold a Bachelors Degree (in any discipline ok) and be a native English speaker from either Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, Canada, South Africa or Ireland.
Generally, teachers only work Monday thru Friday. Feel free to find additional private students as long as they don't interfere with your full-time job.
25 teaching hours a week plus office hours. Office hours and teaching hours combined will not go over 40 hours a week. Lunch and other breaks are included in the 40 hour workweek.
Teacher assistants are provided for large classes.

Qualifications required: |
|
|
1. Tertiary qualification (any major) required. Graduates with TESL/TEFL qualification a plus.
2. Must be a native English speaker from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, UK, South Africa or Ireland.
3. Teaching experience is not essential though we need your passion, knowledge and patience.
