|
The Overland Driver is directly responsible and accountable for the clients’ enjoyment of their holiday and has complete responsibility for the safety of all clients whilst driving. This includes all behind the scenes maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in peak condition both externally and internally at all times and to ensure that all driving is undertaken in a safe and professional manner. Assisting the Tour Leader in dealing with clients’ problems on tour and ensuring the smooth handling of all tour arrangements is also a core part of the work, as is a strong problem solving ability and being able to ‘think on your feet’.
