|
This is a comprehensive study abroad program. Taught in Spanish at the Universidad de las Americas, Puebla (UDLA), the API Puebla program is open to beginning, intermediate, and advanced level students. During the semester, students of all levels will take a Spanish language course, and then be able to select from a variety of cultural electives. Other elective courses are available in English to students at all levels; direct-enrollment courses in Spanish are available to advanced level students. Semester students will also have service-learning/volunteer opportunities. Summer students may choose between a Spanish language immerision program, a business in Mexico program that includes an internship component, or a program for students interested in the medical fields that includes an internship component.

API students can select from a variety of courses in Spanish at all levels. Other courses are available in English, and direct-enrollment options are available to advanced students. A medical program with internship is available in the summer.
Classes are taught by native instructors, and transcripts are issued by the Universidad de las Americas, Puebla. Students also recieve tuition and fees, housing, medical and life insurance, several cultural excursions and events, airport reception, a mobile phone, students services, online services, an on-site director, pre-departure and on-site orientations, and more!
