|
Study abroad in teh fanstaic Inca city of Cusco. You will see the ancient ruins of the Inca capital of Cusco, explore the lost city of Machu Picchu as well as ruins from a variety of other cultures including the Nazca and the Moche.
The school is conveniently located next to the main post-office, Internet cafes, banks, money exchanges, etc. It is about four blocks from the main square, the Plaza de Armas, the central meeting area of Cusco (a great place to people watch!). There are many restaurants, cafes, cathedrals and museums nearby. Classes are held in rooms decorated with typical Peruvian "artesania."

The Academia occupies a beautiful and historical colonial home from 19th century on one of the many small plazas, called Limacpampa Grande 565, right behind of the most important site from pre-Colombian Cusco, the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun).
The building houses two full floors with about 17 classrooms, an indoor patio, a video room, auditorium, an entertainment room, wireless access to internet for our students and interior plaza.
The Academia is registered with and recognized by the Peruvian Ministry of Education, and is partnered with Alma College to offer Undergraduate academic credits. Quality is the hallmark of participation in the Alma College program in Quito. Alma College, a highly selective liberal arts college located in central Michigan, is recognized as a Baccalaureate I school by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. A Phi Beta Kappa institution. Alma College is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
