Program description: |
|
|
Join a one-week programme designed for lovers of wine who want to improve their French in an enjoyable social atmosphere. You will spend the mornings at the Language School studying in the General Group class and the afternoons in the Bordeaux Wine School (just around the corner). All teaching will be entirely in French, but the wine-tasting commentaries will be translated into English.

Wed Visit to the Medoc Region
Thu The Great Bordeaux red wines-lecture and tasting
Fri Visit to St Emillion and its vineyards
Sat Optional visit to Le Chapon Fin- a Michelin * a restaurant for a lecture on pairing food and wine and a gastronomic dinner provided by chef Franck Ferriguti

During the Language course you will be taught by native speakers who are qualified to teach French as a foreign language. Learning French in Bordeaux will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself into the language and culture, whilst improving your language skills. One big enjoyment of this course is whilst you will work hard and enjoy your language course, the wine course will let you play hard any enjoy the wine!
