The College of International Education (CIE) at Tianjin University of Technology (TUT), Tianjin, China, offers Chinese language programs that enable international students to gain proficiency in the Chinese language. Participants have ranged from beginners to the advanced, who plan careers in East Asia involving Chinese, who need a strong foundation in the Chinese language for various careers throughout the world, who are interested in Chinese culture, or who simply intend to live and travel in China. Apart from the language programs, elective courses such as Kungfu (Chinese martial arts), Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese traditional musical instruments, Beijing opera, etc. are also available. The International Student Office of the College of International Education (CIE) will help you with application and admission, entry visa, registration, course selection, living accommodations, and residence formalities in China, etc.
