Program description: |
|
|
One of our community projects includes working with a local committee of highly qualified and trained teachers who provide daily Spanish lessons. Students live with local families who provide all meals, and can participate in numerous volunteer activities including reforestation projects, environmental education, small animal projects, and conversation projects.
For only $150 U.S. per week, students receive:
20 hours of Spanish lessons from highly qualified local teachers.
Home stay with local family for 7 days which includes 3 meals per day.
Daily volunteer opportunities in our ecological park.
Field trips to Mayan ruins or caves.
Activities such as movie night, working in our community library, and traditional cooking classes.
Airport or bus station pick up, and transport to San Andres.
