|
Come and learn in a city that is immersed with the surfing culture. This programme consists of 20 French language lessons per week taught by professional, experienced teachers in a well-equipped and friendly school. There are 10 surfing lessons per week held in the afternoons. Students can do 1,2,3 or 4wk+ courses.
Our surfing programme takes place mostly at the Plage des Basques which offers several types of beach breakers and also waves that are more adapted to surfers at the initial learning level.
The lessons are limited to 8 participants and are taught by a highly skilled surfer who created the HASTEA surfing school. Other state qualified teachers will work with him to ensure that you get a training adapted to your aptitude and personal objectives.
All materials are supplied by the School including wetsuits, shorts and boards.
Should weather conditions force us to use other beaches, transport will be organised by the school.
The French & Surf programme consists of Monday to Friday, 20 morning French lessons at the school in Biarritz + 10 lessons of surf in the afternoon at La Côte des Basques.

You will receive the highest standard of teaching during your language course and lessons are taught by friendly, experienced, native speakers who are qualified to teach French as a foreign language. The school is ideally located close to Biarritz town centre (20 mins by foot, 10 mins by bike), train station and airport.
In a modern and spacious building dating from the 70's, the school offers 15 bright, air-conditioned classrooms for groups of 2 to 12 participants.
An Internet and self study room is also at students’ disposal through out class hours.

This course is open to all surfing and French ability levels, including beginners. Surfing requirement: Students must be comfortable in water and able to swim competently. These courses ALWAYS become fully booked. So if interested, we recommend early reservations!
