Become a Divemaster or a Scuba Instructor in Utila, the Bay Islands, Honduras. It is one of the cheapest places in the world to achieve these qualifications. We can teach Open Water (beginners Course) Advanced Open Water, Rescue, Divemaster and Instructor. We also teach Technical Diving courses and specialist Instructor Courses.
Deep Blue Resort Utila is a 5 Star Gold Palm PADI Resort and an all inclusive scuba diving vacation venue. The resort is set in a beautiful beach front location, surrounded by coconut palms with 10 spacious, air conditioned deluxe rooms, all with large private balconies overlooking its own white sand beach and the crystal waters of the Caribbean. From the beach our guests have access to unlimited shore diving night or day on 3 of the best south side dive sites. Scuba diving on Utila is rich and varied with more than 70 buoyed sites around the island. The North side of Utila has the second largest barrier reef in the world with awe inspiring sheer walls dropping to over 1,000 meters. The South side of Utila consists mainly of shallow fringing reefs, the top of the reef at around 5 meters dropping down to between 30 & 40 meters. Then of course during the surface intervals the Whale Shark search is on. Scuba Diving heaven!!

Where better to study diving than in a diver's paradise. We have everything from Whale Sharks (world's largest fish up to 14 meters and totally harmless), Manta Rays, Dolphins, Turtles and much more. Many people with these qualifications manage to pay for travel by working at the world's greatest dive locations as they travel. Imagine all your travel paid for and all you have to do is dive. We are a PADI 5 Star Gold Palm Resort Instructor Development Center #20598 and will assure you of quality instruction to the highest level. We can instruct in many languages and all our instructors are very experienced. The owners are also some of the most experienced instructors on the island of Utila and still regularly dive with their students. The owners pride themselves on the personal attention given to each student and are very proud of the schemes they have set up, including a Whale Shark Research Program, Reef Regeneration Program, and UDSEC (Utila Dive Safety and Environmental Commission). The owners are totally dedicated to the preservation of the reefs and the underwater environment and hope to pass on this love and passion to all who dive with them at Deep Blue.
