Come and experience the Spanish language and culture in Seville this summer! This is a solid and affordable six week University Program, with focus on Language and Culture coursework. Classes are Spanish language at different levels, Spanish Civilization, the European Union, International Marketing, Spanish for Business, History of Spanish Cinema and History of Spanish Art. Weekly excursions are also included!
Program dates are:
Spanish Language and Culture Studies: June 2 - July 11, 2008
Enrollment Deadline: Extended to April 30, 2008
Housing for this program is a home stay with a Spanish family, including most meals. English speaking Adelante staff will meet you at the airport upon arrival, take you to your accommodation and be there as counsel for you throughout the program. Some excursions are included.

“Intercambios” with Spanish students: 1 hour of Spanish for 1 hour of English with local Spanish students
Weekly social events, excursions and activities in and around Seville.
Some examples of past excursions:
Walking tour of the Ancient Quarter; Visit to the "Museo de Bellas Artes" (Fine Arts Museum); Boat ride down the Gualadquivir River; Visit to Alcazar and the great Cathedral in Seville; Spanish jamon (ham) and wine tasting event; Flamenco shows and more.

Qualifications required: |
 |
|
Program candidates should be 18 or older and possess a desire to study the Spanish language and learn about and live in another culture. Some Spanish is helpful although we do have beginner classes. Candidates should be enrolled in a University or have already graduated.
