Brazil is famed for its breathtaking beauty and you certainly won't be disappointed. From the Amazon rainforest to the Iguaçu Falls, the Encontro das Águas to Sugarloaf Mountain, no matter where you are in this unique destination you'll never be far from one of Brazil natural wonders. Yet this is just one of the many features which attract travellers to Brazil. Add to this the lively atmosphere of the country's towns and cities, the perfection of its beaches and the friendliness of its people and you have a destination that's almost impossible to resist.
Our Paid Teaching Placements in Brazil are a great way to kick off your TEFL career! You won't just be earning while you travel, you'll be learning, building your confidence and working toward a professional qualification that will put you one step ahead of the competition. These internships are great for TEFL tutors who want a little bit of extra support in their first job and they'll give you the experience you need to stand out in the competitive TEFL world.
Requirements
* Native English speaker from the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or USA – Must be a passport holder from one of these places
* TEFL qualification (Essential TEFL Plus course included)
* Age 21 to 35 – this is a condition of the visa issued by the Brazilian government as this is a cultural exchange program for recent graduates
* University degree holder
* You must be living in your home country at time of application
* Satisfactory CRB (criminal records bureau) check
* Home sponsor letter from someone in your family, declaring that if you need any financial help or additional money (US$200 per month) to cover expenses during your time in Brazil, they will help you.
* After initial acceptance on to the program by i-to-i (based on your submittal of the correct documentation), you will have to pay a fee of $120 direct to Brazil to cover the costs of the paperwork required for the screening process and visa application. This is a non-refundable fee – if you do not pass your TEFL course, pass the in-country screening process or qualify for a visa, this will not be returned to you (95% of visas are approved).
