Program description: |
|
|
We currently offer two volunteer sports placements in Morocco, one focuses solely on football, the other on football and basketball. Both projects work with young people in sports clubs, which have been set up within poor areas of Rabat to help encourage local children to take up sports.
Many of the children who attend the sports clubs have not been to school or have started school at a late age. The clubs have provided an alternative to hanging around the streets and often help the children to avoid getting involved in drugs.
