Program description: |

|
This 3 month program allows you to volunteer in two countries, South Africa and Swaziland. During your 6 weeks in South Africa you will spend 5 weeks volunteering and a week on a guided camping safari in Kruger National Park. In Swaziland you will do 5 more weeks of volunteer work and then spend a week on the coast in Mozambique, where you will have the opportunity to explore local markets, enjoy water sports and snorkel with whale sharks.
In South Africa volunteers will have the option of teaching in local schools or working at child care centres in the Emjindini township of Barberton. These provide care and education for disadvantaged children many of whom have broken families as a result of the AIDS pandemic. Likewise in Swaziland you will be assisting at locally run care centres to assist vulnerable children and orphans. There are also opportunities to teach at local primary schools, which are under-resourced and under funded.

Experience 3 beautiful and diverse cultures in Southern Africa, while helping and integrating with local communities.
On both projects there are many other activities that you as a volunteer might like to get involved in; sports (football, netball – or start a new sport at the school), art, drama, music (bring an instrument and teach some kids to play), agriculture and fundraising for the development of the schools.
