|
Volunteers work in cooperation with the Ghana Basketball Association and you would have the great opportunity to find experience within the association itself outside of coaching!
As a basketball coach, your challenge will be to organise fun sessions to develop both individuals and the team. The players are keen and often talented and you will all, no doubt, have lots of fun. You can be involved in coaching all levels and ages, depending on their own abilities.
The basketball placement will give you the opportunity to access some of Ghana 's finest athletes and take part in their coaching and training. However, this is only one side of the game and you can choose how involved you want to be.
The placement will also allow you to work with young and enthusiastic players on a more relaxed level where the emphasis is on fun and developing strong friendships.
