Teach English in China and learn Mandarin too with China Recruitment. We offer an extremely competitive and comprehensive package for gap year students, university graduates and professionals on career breaks.
We are looking for English speakers who are adventurous by nature, ready for a challenge and confident they can adapt to a new culture. Teaching hours are generally around 15 hours a week, which leaves ample time to travel around China and to study Chinese. In our experience, we have found that teaching Chinese pupils can be extremely rewarding and living in China will undoubtedly be a life-changing experience. China Recruitment predominantly offers 6 month or 1 year contracts.
GAP YEAR PROGRAM 2007:
A special language exchange package to learn Mandarin and teach English in China is available for all Gap Year Students. You will teach English in our school (from 6 to 8 lessons per week) and then you will get the same amount of private Mandarin lessons taught by a professional Chinese teacher (each lesson is 90 minutes).
Dates:
September 15th 2007 (a group will be departing from London to Shanghai)
February 15th 2008 (a group will be departing from London to Shanghai)
Individuals or pairs can depart from the UK at any time of the year and can join others who are already there.

We provide:
Free flights to and from China (up to the standard cost of a £450 return flight).
Free Accommodation.
A single room, shared living/dinning room, bathroom and toilet with other participants.
No bills to pay, internet, gas, electricity and water provided (does not include telephone charges).
Free meals (from Tuesday to Sunday, lunch and some dinner).
Airport pick-up at either Nanjing or Shanghai airport.
Free two or three day trip to Huangshan or Jiuhuashan.
Pocket money, 500 rmb per month.

A position as an English teacher in a Chinese school or University that has been approved by China Recruitment.
A monthly salary of at least 4000 Yuan (£280), which will allow you to live comfortably and still save money.
Reimbursement of full return airfaire (up to £400) from Europe to China for a 1 year teaching placement. Reimbursement of half of your airfare (up to £250) for a 6 month placement.
Free accommodation of a Western standard.
Free internet access.
Free pick up from the airport to the school.
