If you love football, our coaching placement in South Africa is the perfect project for you! The kids you will coach have an amazing passion for the game. Working with them is very rewarding. This is your chance to become a coach and a friend to 8-16 year olds who are always enthusiastic, often very talented and for whom football is a big part of life.
Your focus will be having fun with these kids. Most come from poor backgrounds, which means that what you bring to them in friendship, coaching and life advice will impact on them and their community in a way you will always remember – and so will they!
We work with Schools, Clubs and Community Groups of all sorts in South Africa. Whatever your background or skill-level, be assured that you have something positive and unique to offer the children and projects you work on.
You will also have the opportunity to play the sport with volunteers and local football clubs, a fantastic cultural exchange!
