|
Cambodia has become one of the must-visit destinations in South East Asia. With its history of war now an increasingly distant memory, in the last few years Cambodia has had rave reviews. With its pristine beaches, ancient temples and exotic jungle, it’s not hard to see why.
Projects Abroad is based in Phnom Penh, the vibrant and charming capital city. Whilst many areas of the city are booming, with a beautiful river front and lively night-life, it is hard to escape the poverty and the fact that many Cambodians are still struggling to survive. With the country becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination the desire to learn English has never been greater. Volunteers will be put to good use working in secondary schools, helping improve the conversational skills of pupils.
