Program description: |

|
This project is available for anyone with a passion for the game, whether you are on a gap year, a career-break or as part of an extended holiday. The main idea is to help develop the skills and techniques of young people in the country, and through this to increase their future prospects.
We are working to help develop the game at a variety of levels. Volunteers coaching football with Projects Abroad will have the chance to work with a range of age groups from 7 – 18. Volunteers also have the added benefit of training and learning how to coach with the Projects Abroad sponsored team - Eikomena PA - who are based in Division A, Moldova’s second division.
There is even scope to work at one of Moldova’s sport schools - Sportiv Lyceum – which is proud to count as one of its former pupils the winner of Moldova’s only ever Olympic gold medal.
