Program description: |
Volunteers teaching placement opportunities are available in schools throughout the Volta Region of Ghana. Most children in rural community schools lack quality education as a result of teachers refusing posting to rural community schools due to inadequate or lack of facilities in these schools. Volunteers are needed to make a lasting difference in Ghanaian community schools through education while experiencing African life and culture.

Salary/pay/benefits description: |
Most of the local communities or rural communities within the project area don’t have enough teaching staffs to help them. Some of the schools have only two teachers in the whole school which is made of six different classes. Instead of a minimum number of six teachers in the school, most of the them have only 1-2 teachers helping in the whole school making learning and teaching difficult for the kids and the teachers as well.
