|
If you have a passion to brighten the lives of disadvantaged children in Thailand and would love to have your efforts rewarded by some of the most amazing smiles in the world, then you have found your perfect match. Your help is desperately needed at the shelter for hill tribe children. You will be working with children from the mountain tribes on the border with Burma and Laos. You will be lending a helping hand and warm heart to these impoverished youngsters by assisting with a diverse range of activities from general day to day care and cleaning to games and arts and crafts. By bringing with you plenty of patience, energy, creativity, imagination and initiative then you and the children will thrive in this challenging environment.
We are working with a number of homes or shelters for children throughout Thailand. The children come from a range of disadvantaged backgrounds ranging from Burmese children whose families have been badly affected by the tsunami and have to work leaving their children in the centre`s care to be looked after, to children from the minority mountain tribes who have been abandoned by their parents and are in danger of being exposed to child labour and the sex trade.
