The Kitesurf Instructor Fast-track is designed for competent, intermediate kitesurfers who are ready to train up to professional level. You will learn all you need to know to operate safely and effectively as a professional instructor in the fastest growing sport of the 21st century.
The programme includes education in first aid and rescue techniques, environmental awareness, boat driving and sports coaching.
This course is designed to allow maximum time for developing your personal kitesurfing skills. You can be on the water seven days a week, with expert coaching on five of them. This is intensive training and we guarantee to improve your performance.
The later stages of the course focus on the stage by stage process of teaching beginners. The final week is your IKO Instructor Training Course (ITC). At the end of your ITC, you will have developed professional skills in safety procedures, management of the teaching environment, fault analysis, riding technique and the psychology of teaching.
All kitesurfing equipment is provided for the course - but if you have your own board and kites we think you should take them, to make the most of the fantastic conditions in your free time.
The programme is based at Club Margarita and Margarita Xtreme at El Yaque. Your accommodation is at Windsurf Paradise Hotel, right on the beach. For more information on this magic kitesurfing location see the website.
If you travel with Flying Fish, our flight leaves London on Sunday morning, arriving Sunday afternoon. The return flight is overnight from Sunday to Monday morning.

After Kitesurf Instructor Fast-track you can expect to be qualified as IKO Instructor at Level 1 and be eligible for work at a worldwide network of IKO affiliated centres. To maintain high quality teaching, all instructors at Level 1 are expected to request a pass at Level 2 within 12 months of their ITC
