|
This course is ideal for any enthusiastic swimmer looking to become a qualified Lifeguard AND a Lifeguard Instructor in a beautiful location in southern South Africa. This is an excellent way to begin travelling around Africa, or indeed the beaches of the world, with an internationally recognised qualification.
The programme is based at The Lifeguard School in Port Elizabeth on South Africa’s southern coast. It is home to some of the country’s top instructors who will endeavour to pass on as much of their lifeguarding knowledge as possible, giving you the best possible start to a career as a Lifeguard Instructor.
The Lifeguard Instructor course is a combination of physical and mental training during which you will sit practical and written exams to test and prove your knowledge. You will also undertake valuable work experience at The Lifeguard School to develop and consolidate your understanding. All qualifications you receive during the course are accredited by Lifesaving South Africa (LSA). These qualifications are internationally recognised and will therefore give you the chance to gain paid lifeguarding jobs in most countries around the world.
