The PADI National Geographic MSD (Master Scuba Diver) internship and certification is now proving to be a very popular program as it is not too long and the value for money is incredible. It leaves you on the cusp to upgrade to a professional level anytime that you wish in the future. The next level is the PADI Divemaster divers program. It is only one rung on the ladder before professional diver status and a scuba dive career. We find that divers that wish to be the very best and all rounded divers possible opt for this course. By the end of the training your rescue skills will be superb allowing you to have the confidence in your ability to not only self-help but also assist other around you but also you’ll be specialized in 5 areas (5 x specialty courses) again increasing your confidence as well as your skills.
The reason behind internship is to train interested adventurous individuals to become first class Scuba Divers allowing them to enjoy the underwater world with ease and confidence. The MSD program is very popular with divers wishing to work in a marine based position that does not include dive instruction.
The programs offers you: 2 months accommodation, FULL set of dive equipment (to keep), PADI Open Water course (National Geographic), Advanced Open Water course, EFR (Emergency First Response - Medical), PADI Rescue course, 5 PADI Specialty ratings, Full-face mask diver course, ALL Manuals (to keep), ALL Materials and ALL training aids (to keep), ALL Fees paid, diverse dive sites for training, Visa assistance, Some food, minimum of 60 dives (80 - 90 is usual). The best fun that you can possibly have in a training environment.
The PADI National Geographic Open Water Course is given as part of this program. Mermaid's CDC (Career Development Center) is a PADI 5 STAR National Geographic Diver Training Facility. The PADI and National Geographic affiliation will ensure that you have a very strong foundation of knowledge about the under water environment.
Mermaids Dive Career Development Center operates active Reef Check Marine Studies for you to get involved in also.
